Most dining chairs are built to look good in a showroom and forgotten the moment you sit down. Ours starts with the body — how it actually rests, breathes, and settles in over a long meal — and works outward from there. The result is a piece that rewards you every time you use it.

Engineering — The compound curved backrest


The backrest is shaped as a compound curve that follows the natural line of your spine — not a flat panel propped behind your back. The lower lumbar is fully supported, while the upper portion of the backrest keeps your upper back comfortable without restricting it. The seat leaves the body free to settle naturally, so you're not being held in place — you're just sitting well, without thinking about it.


Ergonomics — A seat carved for the human form


The seat is hand-sculpted with a gentle contour that distributes weight naturally across the sit bones. There's no pressure buildup at the thighs, no forward tilt that strains the lower back. Dinner goes long. Nobody wants to leave the table. That's by design.

Construction — Solid hardwood, built to outlast


Every joint is hand-cut and fitted, not routed by machine and filled with glue. We use full-length mortise-and-tenon joinery throughout the frame — the same method that has held fine furniture together for centuries. The chair you receive is the chair we would keep.
